GlobalCommit is now happening. It is the equivalent of a “non-profit incubator,” with a focus on “triage” for the world’s problems, big and small. The implicit challenge for everyone is to find a cause that you care about around the global, and then commit to it.
Don’t just be aware.
Don’t just be interested.
Don’t just be influenced.
Don’t just be involved.
That means taking the full plunge. All the way in! And no checking your watch, saying “Look at the time. Gotta run. Thanks! It’s been fun.” Nuh-uh. We’re in it for the long haul.
We need stick-to-it-iveness. We need gumption. We need people willing to roll up their sleeves and to get stuff done. Now. Not tomorrow. NOW.
The world needs the help of countless committed individuals to make even part of these visions to come true.

Also created a “Social Media” page. Need to add more services over time. Looking for Social Media volunteers who would want to both monitor social media for new information and links to add to our site, as well as to provide outbound communications of our activities.
An “About Us” page was created. Expect it to be expanded over time, especially as more people join the team.
The initial GlobalCommit Programs are now listed, with links to their Facebook groups of origin. Check here regularly for updates, and expect, in the long run, for each of the programs to get their own “Landing Page” to describe their purpose and current status.
GlobalCommit is now live. I am looking for bloggers, social media advocates, and other web-savvy contributors who want to help with our initiatives. It is probably best to get involved through our Facebook group.
